your GATE score more than 300 is safe for get admission in IITs and top NITs.

and for PSUs, It depends upon for which branch has you complete your b.tech.

The marks u have obtained is not enough for u to get admisssioned in the good colleges for ur further studies in the stream. as u are from one of the core branch and the most crowded branch in the engineering field

Yeah!! just by your marks its hard to say which all the colleges you would get since lot many factors come into consideration like caste , gate score out of 1000,your graduation , so i would like to say go for our tool called college predictor or PSU

Your rank is not soo good for getting old IITs to pursue master degree courses in core branches.Nearly all old IIT get filled in rank around 600-700.You may get NIT but also there is very less chance that you may get good NIT with this rank under general quota.You
