Which is best Electrical engineering in walchand sangli or. information tech. in Government College karad?????

Subhrajit Mukherjee 5th Nov, 2021

When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:

  • Infrastructure
  • Curriculum
  • Faculties
  • Placement

Both the colleges are good but if you have to choose any one between then I would recommend you to go for Government College of Engineering Karad. The reason behind it:

  • Infrastructurally both the colleges are same they are quite well maintained in terms of labs.
  • The curriculum is also the same for both the colleges as they are affiliated by Shivaji University, Kolhapur .
  • The placements rate in IT for GCE is better than WCE.
  • The faculties in GCE are more specialized and active in research compared to that of WCE.

I had completed my inter MPC, and i want to prepare for UPSC to become a civil servant. So, which branch is better Mechanical or Electrical and Electronics in b tech for UPSC optional subject?

aswathypadinjakkara 25th Sep, 2021

Hi

The UPSC offers three engineering disciplines as optionals in the UPSC mains exam. They are civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering. They are indeed highly specialized subjects, and only engineering graduates are recommended to take them up as optionals. So you can take one of them. You have to choose an alternative subject in which you are comfortable to score high in UPSC mains. If the subject you took for graduation is available in the list of subjects given, it will be a comfortable option. A lot of candidates from an engineering background have performed well in the IAS exam. However, if a candidate wants to choose an optional subject based on their previous knowledge, if you have done btech in the given disciplines then the options reduce to Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering.

I had completed my inter MPC, and i want to prepare for UPSC to become a civil servant. So which branch is better Mechanical or Electrical and Electronics in b tech, for UPSC?

Abhishek Roy 25th Sep, 2021

I would say, your UPSC preparation phase starts only towards the Final Years of Graduation or maybe while youre on your First Job. Otherwise the First 2-3 Years of Engineering you do need to deal with the branch you select in detail. Hence my suggestion would be select the Branch where your interest lies. If you and your Studies are well synchronized during Engineering, your activitues in day to day life somewhat get sorted, besides you giving time to your interests or UPSC CSE Preparation. However, Electrical Engineering is much tougher than Mechanical Engineering in Curriculum, hence this might be a point to consider. Secondly Mechanical Engineering, has a strong scope even in Private, PSU and Public Research Sectors across Domains.

whether should I choose IIT Delhi maths and computing or IIT Bombay electrical engineering or IIT roorkee CSE.

Hello,

I hope you are doing good,

Without a doubt, CSE IITR. The IITR coding tradition is the highest in all the major episodes, the highest number of selections in GSOC (Google code type) in the world since IITR (except 2017, peak in IIITH) from 6 years ago. The IITR team always leads almost all iits. There is a very high number of tech groups in the IITR among all IITS.Previous year the highest package offered was 1.5 Cr from Microsoft and 1.4 Cr from Uber (100% placement).

In Fact Computer Science is a really good field to explore, you will not regret choosing it.

which is better dcrust electrical engineering or uiet kurukshetra ece?

Mghv 2nd Nov, 2021

Dear Hitesh,

UIET Kurukshetra has better placement records. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 13 LPA, which is so good. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Many companies visits the institute for recruiting the students. Many top companies also visit the college's campus for placements. The infrastructure of the college is also good. Wi-Fi facility is also available for students. The hostel facilities are not good. Labs are well maintained. Teachers in the college are very helpful and well-qualified. They also have very good knowledge about their subjects.
