Hi Subham, the cutoff varies every year based on various factors like number of seats available number of test takers difficulty level of the exams etc and category of student. However going with the past records, you have very high chances to crack through almost all PSU calls.

You can either apply to PSUs and take up GATE exam. Post GATE exam if you meet the cut off criteria of GATE score you will be called for interview. Another way is to apply through state exam for posts under state government, in case of posts under state government

The Rank predicton & Admission possibilities would be difficult as Marking scheme has been changed, Previous year the Marking scheme was of total marks 200 but this year it is 800, Four marks will be awarded for every correct answer.

A CS student already knows about a couple of programming language, algorithms and data structures and has understanding on Computer science fundamentals.

An EC students knows about electronic devices, electromagnetic signals and C or C++ language.

So, as an electronics student you are already lagging

The cut off CSE at VIT Vellore is too high i.e approx 10,000 rank.

You have 37,690 is very low for CSE or any other branches at VIT Vellore.

Engineering physics is, generally, a compulsory subject which is usually taught in the first or second semester.
This subject is common i.e. same for all the branches.
