the branch's placement scenario in the college is good, then why not? If not, no worries. In the end all that matters is your skillset. Don't be a jack of all trades, instead be a master of one. Take one technology and study it well enough to be proficient in it. Keep in touch with the latest technological advancements happening around the world and groom yourself accordingly. Yes, IIT and NIT tag will always be given importance, given their outstanding students but it should not stop you from achieving anything in this world full of possibilities. The education qualification requirements for SSC Junior Engineer is different for each post. As per the SSC JE 2022 Eligibility criteria the candidates who have passed 4 year B. Tech in Civil Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering and 3 year Diploma in Civil Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering are eligible to apply for various posts which will be specified in the SSC JE Notification.
