BMSCE Bangalore vs VIT Pune , ECE in both colleges , Im getting both in their respective counsellings can anyone help me compare them and help in deciding which would be better to take admission into? I live in Gujarat

Jiya Garg 17th Dec, 2021
Greetings !
Both the colleges are good . However there are certain factor to be compare-
  • Ranking- BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore has higher ranking than vishakapatnam institute of technology, Pune.
  • Fees- fees for ece course is higher in vit ,Pune.
  • campus size- Vit, Pune is spreaded over large area.
  • Placement- both the colleges have good placement stats. However BMSCE show higher average package i.e. approx 7 to 8 lakh.
On above basis, BMSCE will be better to opt. Also its position favours the value of incoming company.
All the best.

Is VIT pune has good placement for Electronic and telecommunication ?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 15th Dec, 2021

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune is a private NAAC A++affiliated college of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune . Now the college have a very good infrastructure which is undoubtedly an advantage for any student who want to take admission in this college. Apart from this academically the college is also good and the college really have very good faculties.

For the last two years the placement for the Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering is 100% which clearly signifies it is good in terms of placements but the packages are not upto the mark as the average package offered is in the range Rs 3.2to 4 LPA CTC.

i have got 18000 rank in kcet did i get snq quota in reva university for EC?

Piyush 13th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

I hope that you are doing fine.

With the above rank scored by you, I think you have some decent to low chances to get the REVA University. It's still a prediction as the cutoff trends changes every year as it depends on number of factors and is different for different categories.

However, looking at the previous year cutoff trends, you have chances to get seat in other colleges, if not Reva University  (It's still a prediction as predicted by college predictor tool as the cutoff varies every year) :

JSS Science & Technology University, Mysuru

The National Institute of engineering, Mysore

Dayananda Sagar college of engineering, Bangalore

Siddaganga Institute of Technology

BMS Institute of Technology & Management, Bangalore

RNS Institute of Technology

And many more.

Further, you can check the college predictor tool to get more information about your admission probabilities in other colleges :

I hope that this will help.
