Actually both the collages are good.In the placements point of view both the collages are same but kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is good because Almost 140+ companies have visited this campus in 2017-2018 for placements.

Reva University-- B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.Tech. in Civil Engineering
Computer Science cutoff is higher . So, you will not get CSE branch in REVA university.

Yes, electronics and communication department at SRM Chennai good choice. I am stating this reconsidering the past academic performance of the department. But to give a better recommendation I need to compare with other colleges of the same department if you wish. Are else if you only intended to get admission in ECE at SRM, it is a great choice. Because top recruiting companies in SRM Amazon Accenture Microsoft Infosys IBM Hindustan Unilever HP Cognizant Tata etc

Both branches are good in their own ways. Its you who has to decide where exactly your interest lies. On one hand, Computer science involves learning various programming languages, artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc. Its a great upcoming branch. It involved making codes and changing all the manual things into computer based systems which are easy to handle and accessible.
