Yash Dev Student Expert 2nd Jun, 2020

Hello student as you're a student of electronic and communication branch I believe you need to do hard programming on your laptop so you can purchase any laptop of your budget, but if you're planning to learn programming in future then go with Apple Mac book because it's most recommended laptop for programming or go with laptop which has specifications of 8GB RAM, 1TB HARD DISK, SSD, Battery Backup of minimum 4-6hrs and light weight.

i passed out in 2017 from ECE then I joined a software company. i appeared in GATE 2019, but didnt qualify. I resigned my job and joined coaching but even this year im getting around cutoff marks. my dream is institutes like BARC ISRO. But Im very demotivated i dont want to give up.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 14th Feb, 2020

hi,

see barc and isro has option for students who donot qualify in gate. so you can separately apply for it. also there is some companies like vizag steel, tata steel, has separate exam options with out gate.

so dont get demotivated, see it is difficult to get good score in gate if you dont have confidence and if you lack hard works. I suggest you to apply for other exam also rather than only depends on gate score.
