As per your requirement, i would say that as your mark mentioned above of 10, 12, and btech, your academic sounds to be mediocre and not first class. Mors or less it will have impact in your placement as 12 marks and graduation marks will play a crucial role.

You cant sit in an interview where no post is offered.It is not possible in any way. Focus on score preparation and try to score good a good marks first and then give attention to all this thing.Currently your prime objective should be to focus on the exam.

Well usually the candidates get admission based on their general rank and belonging to some community gives the advantage of reserved seats. Other than that, the community rank doesn't really have a solid purpose. Your community rank specifies your position amongst the candidates of the same community.
