Hello Rakesh!
As you have your first graduation certificate, you can give yes.
But if you mention for what application you are going to apply, it will be good.
But for any application form, if you have your first graduate certificate with you, you can mention avail first graduation certificate there.
Thank you!

As NTA has removed 75% eligibility criteria for NIT/IIT/IIIT/GFTI , so if i am passed in 12th overall but fail in Chemistry (theory by 1 mark) will i get admission (considering that i am passed in Vocational subject Statistics ) ?

Rayan Rego 25th Aug, 2020

The eligibility for engineering in NIT is as follows candidate must have a pass marks in 12th exam from any recognised educational board. Along with it you must also have good score in JEE MAINS so that your name might come on the merit list of the NITs. Also you won't be given admission just on the basis of 12th marks. And if you plan t o join any other engineering college they will see you PCM marks too and then give you admission.

So since you failed in chemistry I am afraid to say that you chances of getting admissions are very less

Thank you

Does Sastra Promote Extra curricular Activities, are they Strict ?

Kamal Kishor Chaurasiya 11th Aug, 2020

Ho Vishalini,

Sastra University is an UGC approved and NAAC accredited grade A college located in Tamil Nadu. It was established in the year 1984. It offers several courses in various disciplines.

It is good in both respects- academically and non-academically. To be straightforward towards your question I will throw light only on extracurricular aspects.

There is numerous clubs and societies in the university. Some of them are Literary Club, Auto Club, Oratory, and Debating Club, JAM Club, Fine Arts Club, Quiz Club, etc. clubs. COLOSSEUM & FUERA are SASTRA's inter and intra college sports competitions. There are many fests celebrated here and will help you develop your extracurricular skills.

All the best.

PLEASE HELP ! I scored 50% in 12th exam and had 6 subjects ( i passed in 5 and failed in theory of Chemistry ) but i want to be an engineer so if i imroved my marks next year then will college accept that improved marks ( if i passed in 12th without failing in any subject ) ?

mjaisinghani62 26th Jun, 2020

Hello aspirant

You can give exam for only Chemistry, next year your marks will be accepted even if you don't repeat all the subjects. If you go for class improvement for all subjects you will have to appear for all practicals assignments and even graded subjects again.

So don't worry in both cases your marksheet will be accepted for Engineering . But the thing is you should fulfill the eligibility criteria for Engineering ie minimum 50% marks in PCM and appear for CET or JEE main.

i got 96/120 in SITEEE2020, the entrance test for symbiosis institute of technology. i m from general category. will i get a seat in computer science btech branch??

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 31st Jul, 2020

Hey Aryan. There are a total of 60 seats for cse in SIT out of which some seats are reserved. Let us assume that there will be only 30 seats for general category students in cse after deducting the reserved seats. You have not mentioned the rank and with your marks it will be difficult to say anything for sure but if your rank is below 100 in general merit list you have high chances of getting called for 1st round of counselling for cse branch.

kiet is taking self entrance exam and viva voice I give all the answers correctly in exam but in viva I give 2 answers wrong now they said if you will be selected then you will get informed in 3 days what are the chances of getting a selection

yash79148 10th Aug, 2022

Hi Mandavi .

So, you give all answers correctly in exam but in viva you give 2 incorrect answers. See, viva voice is not only about giving correct answers , its also about your communication skills , confidence as well as acknowledging the vocal and oral nature of the discipline. If you think that your these skills were good in your viva then just relax, those 2 questions you gave incorrect does not matter.
