EWS(Economically Weaker Section) is a new type of reservation introduction for candidates whose family income is less than 8 lakh per year. These reservation is for students who does not belong to OBC, SC and ST. These type of students have 10% reservation in government college and jobs. Both EWS and minority is different.

So, according to your wbjee rank, your chances of getting a seat there is almost nil.
