Hii Aadarsh,

HOCl will not react with an alkyne(acetylene),but HOCl in presence of acetic acid gives H2OCl+ which attacks an alkyne from chlorine end,because water is a good leaving nucleophile.

You will not be able to get the mechanical branch maybe. I will tell you more precisely about it if you comment down your state.

However for the NIT part, you can get into your home state NIT most probably, the branch may not be high as mechanical
