Yes actually because there are so many colleges available for engineering. Even the seats go wasted in many of the engineering colleges. Medical has limited seats. So the students at times are option less ie they cannot get admission into any medical college itself. So they think of drop.

Placement Scenario of HMS College is very poor. The average package from B. Tech students being around Rs. 50,000/- per year. The company list is very short like IBM, L&T, Microland, Integra, etc. The placement part of HMS really needs some serious improvement.
