Can we expect casual vacancy round in engineering in 2019 in kcet???

satyam saran 14th Aug, 2019

No updates regarding the same till now although all the rounds and extended rounds are complete. The casual vacancy round is conducted after all the normal rounds only if there are vacant seats remaining after the normal counseling rounds. If all the seats are filled up to the 2nd extended round then there will be no special rounds after that.

According to previous year cutoffs you can not get seat in civil engineering in Jadhavpur University decentralized counselling. In previous years the cutoff for civil engineering was about 4000 general merit rank. So you should try for other colleges.

Do backlogs matter for MS in overseas??

athira_1490858591 Student Expert 15th Aug, 2019
Hi,

Backlogs would matter only if they are left uncleared. However, a mention of it in your result card would be a little problem as it would give a negative impression during an interview. MS in overseas also takes into consideration aspects like Internship, projects done, letter of recommendation, qualifying exam scores etc.
