Firstly to do Engineering you can either pursue BTech or BE .
Under BTech you can opt for any stream of your choice like
Aeronautical Engineering.
Automobile Engineering.
Civil Engineering.
Computer Science and Engineering.
Biotechnology Engineering.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
You can also opt for lateral entry through diploma .
Engineering is the third major stream with 37.70 lakh students enrolled at the undergraduate level.
You can go to IITs or nits for Engineering course.
For btech
You must have passed Class XII exam from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects.
You must also he secured minimum aggregate marks of 60 per cent in the above subjects combined.
Admission to different Engineering Colleges are based on entrance test like JEE, VITEEE, BITSAT etc.

yes. Pondicherry engineering college is one of the best college for mechanical, electrical and for civil branches you will get strong theoretical knowledge and good practical exposure. Narasaraopeta Engineering College has a an active placement and training cell. it has a good placement record for CSE with 50 offers for the 2020 passout batch. But the packages are not too good compared to other colleges.
