A career path after completing Engineering Physics may not be promising, particularly in securing on-campus placements. The demand for Engineering Physics graduates is limited, and only a few companies specifically seek candidates with this degree. Many companies have distinct recruitment processes that do not typically involve on-campus hiring, with the exception of government organizations such as DRDO, BARC, etc.

If you are getting 100 marks in jee main then means you will get around 90 percentile, this is valid for first attempt as in second attempt competition will be increased . At this percentile you will get only lower nits which is not so good . I will suggest you to work harder in the upcoming April attempt of jee. Otherwise you have to be satisfy with lower nits and lower branch . Chemical engineering is also tough getting at this score .

Some institutes offer lateral entry to the second year based on separate exams, and diploma holders can also apply as fresh candidates with their JEE Mains score. Additionally, many other engineering colleges accept diploma holders through various avenues. Explore these options and check individual institute websites for specific details and procedures.
