My question is that my doughtor appearing in 12 th with pcb group can she give mhcet exam with pcm group for engineering pl confirm

Tanya Gupta 12th Feb, 2024

Hello,

Yes, your daughter can appear for the MH CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) exam with the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) group for engineering, even if she is currently studying with the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group in Class 12. MH CET is open to candidates from different streams who wish to pursue engineering courses. However, it is very essential to check the eligibility criteria and specific requirements of the MH CET exam to ensure she meets all the necessary qualifications for admission to engineering programs.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

Akansha Sharma 15th Dec, 2024

With a 93 percentile in JEE Mains and belonging to the EWS category, you have a good chance of securing admission in Mechanical Engineering at HBTU Kanpur, though it depends on the current year’s cutoff trends. Typically, the cutoff for Mechanical Engineering at HBTU Kanpur can range between 85 to 95 percentile, so your chances are favorable.

Hello aspirant

You may get admission to bachelor's degree course in mahatma gandhi mission jawaharlal nehru college, Aurangabad if you will pass out your diploma course with minimum 55% marks .

You will have to appear for entrance exam , MHT CET for this college. On the basis of your cet score you can get admission to bachelor's course.

It will depend upon your score in which field of engineering you will get admission.  Cut off score ii too high for computer science,  Information technology,  ece ,

So work hard , get top score to get your desired university and engineering branch.

should i prefer cs branch in a tier 2 college or a lower engineering branch (eee/mech or lower) in an nit? p.s. i have no specific interest in core/lower engineering and aim to work in the tech industry in india or abroad.

Hello,

Hope you are doing great.

So, if you are wishing to get enrolled in technology field, then it will be better for you to get enrolled in the CSE branch and choose a specialization in the same such IT or AI or Machine Learning. However if you are interested in the other courses such as manufacturing technology or something, then you can go for the the Mech branch or ECE or EEE branches.

Hope this helps!!
