As you have mentioned you failed in English subject in your class x exam .
It is not clearly mentioned what are you doing now, I am asking this question because without passing in English subject you will not be able to get admission in any college for further studies.

For pursuing civil engineering in MGM jawaharlal Nehru college, you must have passed 10+2 class with minimum 50% marks ( some colleges require higher score of 75%) with physics, chemistry and biology along with English subject as compulsary subject . Along with thus criteria you will have to appear for jee mains or MHT CET entrance exam and qualify with good score.

Yes you may appear for jee mains and jee advance but you will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for jee mains and jee advanced .
Eligibility criteria for jee mains 2024 is that the candidate must be Indian.
The candidate must pass class xii with minimum 75% ( general category and 65% in case of SC /ST) . There is no age limit for appearing jee mains but aspirant can appear for three consecutive years not more than that. The first attempt should be soon after class xii.
The candidate must have studies physics , chemistry, maths, language and one more subject biology / technical or vocational subject.
For jee advanced top 2,50,000 candidates who qualify in jee mains will be eligible for appearing in jee advanced.

As we all know that BITS is one of the prestigious institution in India and it’s all three campus have great academic records due to which it has a very high competition and this leads to the high cutoffs, so considering all this you can assume that 200 to 220 can be a safe score to get Mechanical Branch in any of the three campuses.
