Dear candidate,
In my view mechanical branch in engineering is one of the best branch . The branch is good or bad does not depends on college, it depends on student. Student can do better from any college, if they works hard. But if you want to know that which  college will be better then my answer is IIT Bombay.
I think mechanical engineering in IIT Bombay is best.
Thank you.

Am I eigible to go for MTech in Engineering Physics after completing B.E in IT? How hard the math is in Engineering Physics for someone not that good in math?

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 2nd Nov, 2019

Hello,

You are eligible but there are different exams for it. it may not be in India but you can do it aboard. There are some criteria  for it. you have to satisfy it.

In India you can go for Mtech only in the domain in which you did your graduation. Mtech is specialisation of btech.

If you want to do specialisation in other domain then you have to go for aboard.

If you are weak in mathematics then you have to work very hard as specialisation needs evolution and solving of hard problems which have no prior solution or method.

Hope it helps!

i want to change my career path..Am i eligible to do Mtech in engineering Physics at the age 35. I did Bachlore in Engineering in Information Technology and worked in IT sectore for 12 years... I want to go for research or teaching line.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 2nd Nov, 2019

hey,

in india most of the institute allow core engineering b.tech holders to join mtech in computer science or IT related field. but as you are a btech in information technology and want to join mtech in engineering physics you may surely join.

see there is no age limit for doing mtech. you may do mtech from IT discipline or any interdisciplinary subjects like embedded system, data science, artificial intelligence, engineering physics etc.etc.
