Engineering Physics
Hello
You have got a decent rank
Getting IIT is tough as cutoffs are very high as per previous year statistics
Many get closed at 150 rank pwd general
But you should try for nits
Nit Andhra Puducherry Jamshedpur are good
You can get non circuit branches here
greetings shubham,
following is a typical syllabus of engineering physics:
http://dtu.ac.in/Web/Academics/syllabus.php
if you do it from a top college, you can expect a package of around 6-8 LPA in the beginning.
if you do it from a private college/average college, you may get a package of 3-4 LPA.
hope this helps.
good luck
Hello Sahil!
If you want to pursue physics field in IIT then it is very good.According to my knowledge doing Bs -Ms from physics department from old IIT's is more beneficial in comparison to new IIT's because in old IIT's there are lots of opportunities in research field and professors are also good.
Hope it answer your concerns .
Hi Candidate,
Before directly proceeding to the future options for Engineering Physics, let's first know the field first- Engineering Physics focuses on the use of physics when analyzing and evaluating engineering problems by combining principles of subjects such as Aerospace, Mechanics, Chemistry, Social Science, and Electronics.
If we talk about the future of Engineering Physics, it has a great scope in the future because most technologies are being automated and transformed using Machine Intelligence, it creates a demand for people such as Engineering Physicts who can summarise the complex processes and develop it according to the need.
Hope that this answer helps you. All The Best!!
You will definitely get mechanical engineering and engineering physics with a rank of 5499, and that is 100 percent sure.
You can even get better branches with this rank. But given that you are asking about mechanical engineering so you will get IIT bhu, ISM dhanbad, IIT mandi, IIT Patna, IIT Bhubaneswar, etc.
You can also get the mentioned branch in IIT Roorkee and IIT Guwahati but you will have to wait for the successive rounds of counseling.
Good luck!
The following are the list of colleges under KTU for Engineering:
Feel free to ask any queries. All the best for your future!
Thanks for A2A brother
It is good to see students are showing interest other than so called trending branches like CSE or EC.
Actually brother, opting Egineering Physics will open the doors for you and provides huge scope in research.
Actually engineering physics is a mamoth subject, in this you'll study subjects like optics, electromagnetism, electrostats, solid state etc. Almost all your IIT phsics pricnciples will help you in understanding the above topics indepth.
So, my sincere advise would be to opt for the branch only when you ahve considerable interest in physics.
Regarding college, IIT B and IIsc banglore are the best in this feild!
Thank You
There are many good colleges accepting JEE Mains score for engineering physics: You may check out this link for details on the course and colleges offering it: https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-be-btech-in-engineering-physics-colleges-in-india
Engineering Physics is indeed a good emerging branch, i will list out few top colleges which accepts jee mains score for engineering physics
