Hello Surbhi, Based on last year cutoff of general candidates, the closing rank for the unreserved category was 1353(In AIIMS Guntur). If we convert 1353 rank in marks the marks would come somewhere around 560-570. But for being the sake of safety you should target 600.
If you are really interested in Engineering Physics or doing research in that field then it is very good option. In Engineering Physics you basically have to study the topics which you study in general physics like quantum is the most important of all and like that only ther topics
If you are passionate about engineering physics , then only you are going for IIT Delhi. See if you talk about placements then it is no less than core jobs. Companies visit exclusively for Engineering Physics just like google visiting for CS students.

According to previous year opening and closing rank given in the josaa website it is very difficult for you to get admission in IIT Roorkee(Mechanical Engineering) based on your rank.
