Hey I got 88.72 percentile in JEE main January , Will I get NIT Calicut for engineering physics?

harsh Student Expert 13th Mar, 2019

Hello Bhargav

in this percentile your approximately rank willbe more than 1-1.2 lakhs.( may even more depending upon april exam and situation)

and it will be not possible to get admission in NIT CALICUT .

You have to secure rank under 12-15 thousand to get admission in engineering physics and for this you have to secure atleast 98.8+ percentuile marks.

You can see last years cut offs

So work for the next attempt .

Good Luck

How is M.sc Photonics and M.sc Physics at Manipal Academy of Higher education?

kashishjuneja2000_8032841 Student Expert 10th Mar, 2019

Manipal academy of higher education is really good for higher education Especially for courses like msc photonics and M.sc physics. The placement rate and packages are really good. The only drawback is that it is a little costly. So if you can afford it you should surely go for it.

Manipal Academy of higher Education(for M.sc Photonics) or NIT Warangal(for M.sc[tech] Engineering Physics in Photonics? Which is better?

Shahid Khan 5th Mar, 2019
Hello aspirant

As per your question,it's better to go for Manipal academy of higher education rather than NIT Warangal for msc photonics.because there is much importance given to Manipal rather than NIT Warangal.

Hope this information is relevant to your question.

Thank you:)

Omisha Sharma 26th Jan, 2019
Hi,
See if we talk about score in jee mains so it should be above 250 to get a good iit so that you get a good rank and on that rank basis you will get nit. So its upto your rank that will decide that you will get iit  or not. All the best!

Can I get a seat in NIT Calicut in engineering physics.

Vikas gehlot 15th Jan, 2019

The seats offered in NIT are based on your JEE main rank therefore without main JEE main rank we could not tell you that whether you will be able to get a seat into NIT Calicut or not also admission is based on many criteria such as category of the student home state of the student right now JEE main paper for April session is left so once the JEE main april get over the ranks will come so after that you can predict something.
