Tamajit Biswas Student Expert 2nd Dec, 2019

Hi Aspirant,

I understand that you have scored sufficient marks to exceed your cutoff marks for bc-d category but have somehow by mistake entered an incorrect caste while filling out the application form and so to answer your question there might be some issue with this dilemma when your documents get verified so in order to evade this scenario I would like you to address this matter to the appropriate authorities by post or by mail while clearly stating your issue and request them to make the changes necessary for your candidature and also request them to expedite the entire process.

Abhishek Roy Student Expert 12th Sep, 2019

Hey!There.

Since you are appearing in improvement examination so you can apply for Jee mains paper 2..But if your 12th board improvement results remains less than 50% then in that case you won't able to take admission through JEE score card even after qualifying JEE MAINS EXAMINATION..

Ask if any query..

i have taken admission in engineeeing college but right now due to financial issues i want to cancel my admission but college is asking me to pay full three years fees so what should i do

Tamajit Biswas Student Expert 31st Oct, 2019

Hi Bhavesh,

I understand that you want to drop out of your engineering degree course study due to some financial crisis and now to answer your question, if the college authorities are suggesting that you have to pay the fees then I request you to state your financial problem due to which you want to quit the course in the form of a letter and request the management to consider you for the drop out mechanism and that the fee status is annulled due to your difficulty.

If it is not accepted then address the same issue by sending the above letter to the District Magistrate and request his office for a remedy.

Hi Naseem,

I understand that you have mistakenly entered your grade sheet instead of uploading the eligibility certificate and so to answer your question you can check their official website to see if they are going to open a correction window for the candidates to rectify their mistakes in the application form.

If there is no correction window then I advise that you address this matter to the concerned authorities via post or through mail along with mentioning the proper details and stating the matter and request them to solve the discrepancy at the earliest.

What is B.Plann degree ? What are the job opportunities after obtaining such a degree ?

Sunanda Dhar Student Expert 12th Sep, 2019

Please understand that although entrance exam for both fields B.Arch & B.Planning are usually same but they are not much related. The information provided below will focus on b.planning with minimal comparison and relation of planning with other courses.

In architecture main focus is on design related concept but in Planning there is a lot of variation in subjects you learn. More focus is on analysis of data. These two courses are often confused and many students takes up planning because they don’t get admission in Architecture but are interested in studying at SPA Delhi. In case you are passionate about designing and that’s the reason for you joining B.Arch then we would suggest not to take up b.planning as its no where related to designing part

Future prospects planning is not lucrative in short run. There is lack of jobs in cities even though there is large need of planners. This is due to lack of awareness & understanding about the course. Moreover B.Arch degree holder can pursue M.Plan & they are more preferred in many companies as companies feel the person with B.Arch + M.Plan have both the skills of planner & Architect which turns out to be wrong in long run when things go wrong. If you study well & develops interest then good jobs are there but you will be required to search for them on your own because of lack of placement cell in some colleges. Starting will be 20-30K per month after b.planning, you can expect 20% difference in the mentioned salary depending on the company and the project on which you will be working.

M.Plan is a must of you want good job in long run as b.planning do not give you details or specific knowledge. b.planning is a mix of most of the Master Degrees so having specialization will help but again starting salary will be only somewhat more than that of a b.planning degree holder. You can expect a good income on basis of experience & contacts.

Contacts do matter in this field and can be developed while perusing course. You can expect a good income only after 4-5 years of work experience & hard work. Brand name of SPA Delhi will be helpful but not much so choose carefully. Scope & income of planners is much less in India as compared to that of developed and some developing countries, if you wish to go abroad then you can expect a good income from start.

Hope you find it helpful

let me know in the comment box if you are having any further doubts

thanks

Good Luck!

we should give our original certificates permanently to the college at the time of self reporting ???and is its compulsory to pay yhe fees???

Stuti Agarwal 11th Sep, 2019

Dear aspirant, the original certificates are required just for the verification, the photostats of the documents are to be submitted. No original certificate is kept by the college. The fee payment is compulsory to get admission and a roll number in the college, without fees payment seat can be cancelled as well after a particular time provided by the institute.

Hope it helps.
