How much ragging have to Face to BTech CSE or IT Students here ?

Tamajit Biswas Student Expert 31st Oct, 2019

Hi Tanmay,

Please be rest assured that all the colleges in India especially the IITs, NITs, IIITs and other government colleges have strict policies wherein ragging is clearly deemed as illegal and prohibited and is considered a criminal offence. If found that any candidate has been part of the abuse then he/ she will be rusticated from the college and would also face judicial trial.

Any Year back Student Getting Good Job After Btech please tell me?

Tamajit Biswas Student Expert 31st Oct, 2019

Hi Midasala,

Although some companies have a criteria of no backlogs policy but that does not essentially debars a student from getting a good job if he is vocal, smart and competent. Thus there are many who do have backlogs but still have landed jobs in companies like Google, Microsoft, etc. At the end of the day it's your quality that speaks.

does it depend where you study for a good placement or it depend on your skills.?

Amy Student Expert 9th Sep, 2019

Hello,

Where you are placed depends very much on where you study. Some top companies visit only the top and premium institutions. If you are a skilled and good student, you will get placed no matter where you study. After getting the first job, all that matters is your skills. You will reach heights if you are very skilled.
