They are responsible for many different tasks on the IT spectrum. Solve existing security issues, such as viruses or hardware malfunction. Testing systems for vulnerabilities in hardware and software. however to become a security engineer you must have decent knowledge on operating systems, different networking protocol, security software's , good communication skills.
