Answer to this question depends in which college you want to get admission. Top BBA colleges like nmims , pune university , mumbai university require english as a compulsory in 10+2. Because their lectures or the entire course goes in english . Also they require maths as a compulsory

For any student to be eligible for writing AIIMS MBBS exam, he/she must secure a minimum aggregate of 60% (for UR/OBC)/ 50% (for SC/ST) in physics, chemistry, biology and English. So it depends on your aggregate of these subjects as well as on your category.

it is important to add atleast one language subject in the best four percentage and if you had studied just one language subject than yes English is mandatory to add. According to Delhi University guidelines there must be one language subject and three core subjects.
