I can get 78.614 percentile in session 1 jee mains in EWS category can I get NIT

jhasuyash006 6th Aug, 2022

Hello Vivek,

Congratulations for your result. 78.614 percentile is a descent score. In order to predict the exact college first we need to find the exact rank. It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank as the trends changes every year because it depends on many factors like number of students appeared, shift, toughness, etc.

But we can predict your result based on the previous trends. With 78.614 percentile your CRL-AIR will be around 218779 - 245939 . You can verify your rank by using our rank predictor tool which is given below:

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

In order to get a seat in NITs, you need to score at least 90+ percentile as per past year trends in EWS category.

Thus, with 78.614 percentile, chances are very low for NITs. But still you can get many government and private colleges under JOSSA Counselling.

If you want to check the chances of getting a college, you can go through our college predictor link which is given below:

Thank you and all the best for your future.

But we can predict your result based on the previous trends. With 99.7 percentile your CRL-AIR will be around 3069 - 3450 . You can verify your rank by using our rank predictor tool which is given below:

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

scoring 587 marks in neet 2022 i am from bihar belong to ews category any chance to get government college ?

Akansha Jha 5th Aug, 2022

Hi there,

Predicting chances of getting a government medical colleges depends more on rank which further depends on the difficulty level of paper, number of students appeared and hence keeps fluctuating every year.

But going by previous year's data, yes you can secure a government MBBS seat but only if you apply through 85% state quota. In 2020 the cutoff marks for general category student through state quota was 586 and since cutoff for EWS is generally lower than general so you can definitely get a reputed government medical college at this marks.

You can refer to this article to know individual cutoff of different colleges in Bihar-

I got 87.25percentile in jee mains with ews category and Im from uttarpradesh please tell me which NIT will i got by this percentile????

Sanjana 2nd Aug, 2022

Hey aspirant

Minimum cut off mark for qualifying for jee advance is 67 percentile for ews category. So you are qualified for jee advanced. But with 87 percentile it will be difficult to get a seat in NIT for core branches like mechanical engineering, electrical engineering etc. But there are many other colleges giving admission on basis of jee. So you can try in those colleges.  Also you can appear for jee advance. Hello,

As per previous data, cutoff for EWS in JEE Main will be around 70-75. So, there will be chance to get NITs.

For IITs, you need JEE Advanace result.
