sir according to NTA Ans key i have secured 576marks.Is there any chance to get gov college in bihar or other state,im from bihar.ews category

Anurag Khanna 26th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See it is little bit difficult to predict exactly whether you will get seat or not because different colleges have different cut-offs for State quota and All India Quota. Also, cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

If we go through previous years NEET cut-off trends in Bihar then there are some chances for you to get seat in some of the GMCs, the reason being is last year the lowest cut-off marks was 576 for Government Medical College, Bettiah under Home State quota for EWS category.

You can check the previous years cut-offs through the link given below :-

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 26th Sep, 2020

hi,

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of streams etc. so it is quite difficult to predict college just based on percentile, in josaa counselling NITS, IIITS, GFTIS has participated.  JEE Main rank is used for the admissions to UG engineering programs offered by 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, and 28 CFTIs in addition to admission in states like Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Bihar, Jharkhand and Nagaland, and many other private universities and institutes.

do mention your rank , To know about the complete list of colleges based on your category please enroll for careers360 college predictor  tool,

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 26th Sep, 2020

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 598 marks, you have chances to get a seat in following college under Haryana state quota :-

  • Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak

I have given neet ,,will get appr. 350 Marks belong to EWS category,,,what are my chances for mbbs in AIQ

Muskan Bhalla 26th Sep, 2020
Hi,
According to previous years records, your expected rank is 204334 - 244484. This might vary according to difficulty level of exam and performance of students.
Last year, the last rank admitted under AIQ 15% quota on EWS category for MBBS government college was 12514. Therefore, you can't get a government medical college under AIQ quota but you can apply for private colleges.

i have secured 742 rank in general cat and in ews category 107in mtech dual degree can i get iet lucknow ? please help

apeksha150598 5th Nov, 2020
Hello aspirant,

IET Lucknow is a top ranking Institute which takes admission through UPSEE. Your general rank is not good enough to get you a seat in this college since the number of seats for mtech are less and also the cutoff is higher being the first choice of most of tge students. You dual degree rank in ews has fair chances. U might get a seat if you wait till the final round.

All the best!

  • Family income less than 8 lakhs per annum
  • possession of agricultural land of less than 8 acres
  • residential flat of less than 1k sq ft

I got 81.81 percentile in JEE main in EWS category which government college I will get?

ARYAN SAGAR 5th Nov, 2020
Dear student,

As you have secured 81.81 percentile score in JEE mains then sorry you cannot get any seat in any NITs or any iiits or any gftis in whole josaa round counselling.
Because as per your percentile I can assume your ews rank must be around 20000. And this your Crl rank must be around 210000.

Because nowadays the competitions are very tough and you have to at least score under 7000 ews rank to get a seat in NITs or any iiits. Also with this much Crl rank, there is very hard chances of getting any gftis.

So, with this much rank, the chances of getting a good goverment college is impossible.

So, it will be better that you are out for some other is state colleges or some other private Institutions like Kalinga Institute of Industrial technology or CV Raman Global University because in these two colleges many low rankers can easily get admission.

Also check out our JEE mains college predictor tool to get an appropriate idea of the colleges that you can get on the basis of your JEE mains rank :-
