The previous year cutoff for AU MSc zoology for first round was around 170 and in 6th round it went down till 140. Considering that, your marks very low for getting a college. You can consider some other colleges that do not base their admission on this entrance exam.

If you had applied for EWS category and if you have uploaded the EWS certificate then you might be eligible for EWS seat. However, during counselling you will be asked for various documents for verification which will include your EWS certificate as well. So, if you carry it for verification, you will be considered as EWS candidate.

EWS Category reservation is given to the economically weaker section of the General Category. There is a significant advantage to EWS Category students in JEE Mains and JEE Advance. As per, 2019 JEE Mains Cut off, EWS Cut off was 78.21 against the general cut off 89.75. Similarly, in 2020 JEE Mains, EWS Cut off is 70.24, lower than OBC Cut off 72.88, whereas the General Cut off is 90.37.
In JEE Advance, as well, EWS Cut off in 2019 was lower than General Category Student.
