shubham 4th Nov, 2020

Hello,

In order to know if you can get admission in Ayaan medical college you should know the cutoff of the college

Ayaan institute of medical science - Local

management quota - 296234, 277

Government - 95119, 436

Non Local

Management - 296234, 277

im getting 553 marks in neet 2020. im from ews category up state. can i get any govt college

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 25th Sep, 2020

In 2019, under State Quota a score of 575 secured a seat in Shahjahanpur Medical College under EWS Category. That has been the cut off.

With a score of 553, your rank might be approximately between 19,000-22,000. This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank . Now regarding the Colleges that you may have a shot at, you have a chance in:

  • Era Medical College
  • Sri Rammurti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences
  • Rama Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Hapur

A seat in GMCs is tad difficult. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Hello Aspirant,

On such marks and category you have good chances of getting private seat in some medical colleges in Karnataka under it's 85% state quota according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get following colleges :-

  • Dr.M.R.Ambedkar Dental College and Hospital, Bangalore
  • Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College and Hospital, Bangalore
  • AECS Maruti College of Dental Sciences and Research Centre, Bangalore

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

I got 92.2percentile in gen ews category, which college can I get?

Anurag Khanna 25th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

As you have not mentioned about an examination for which you want to inquire so it is little bit difficult to guide you accurately. However if we consider your profile you are an engineering aspirant so you might be interested in JEE-Main. According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question your rank is expected to be in the range of 63,079-82,249. On the basis of this rank and category you can get some IIITs and some good government engineering colleges like NSUT, DTU, IIIT Bhubaneshwar and so on if you deserves Home state quota for any of them.

However I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict the chances of your admission in different colleges  based upon your percentile and category :-

With this rank, i cannot see chances of getting into NIT Calicut in EEE.

However you have chances of getting a seat in top IIITs like Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani ,Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad and other IIITs too.

Pragya sarwaiya 3rd Nov, 2020

Hi

Under medhavi yojna, you won't have to pay tuition fees.

You will only pay caution fees( which will be between 30k - 50k) after you sign the bond.

Under medhavi yojna in medical colleges, students get full consession in their tuition fees

All the best

My jee main rank is 120000 and belong to gen EWS category. where should I move UIET chandigarh ( mechanical) or take part in CSAB counseling and move towards any GFTIs or move towards MMM Gorakhpur? My home state is Uttar Pradesh.

ARYAN SAGAR 3rd Nov, 2020
Dear student,

As you have secured 120000 rank in jee mains, then I can assume that this is your CRL rank under ews category.
So, i would give a simple advice, that instead of taking admision in uiet chandigarh or mmm gorakhpur, attend the csab special round counseling.
Though you will not get any nits or iiits or iiest, but you will get some top and good gftis.

With this much rank you can gey some of the top gftis like - Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, Institute of Technology, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central university), Bilaspur, (C.G.), Assam University, Silchar, etc.

But don't think that I am in against of uiet or mmm, these colleges are also very good, but as per my opinion you should go with gftis because there is a chance that you will get top gftis in csab special round. Or as per your convenience you can take admission in uiet or mmm too if you are getting.

And also check out the following link to know more about csab special round counselling and the previous year cutoff Trends ( note that all the mentioned ranks are CRL rank not category wise ranks ) :-
