We do not have 2019 data and so this answer is being written based on 2018 data. With a score of 440, your rank might be approximately between 90825-99323 . This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank
AP MBBS seats are categorised into SVU,OU and AU areas. You need to be a local to that area to claim local status. The cut offs for various areas for BC have been as follows:
AU: 533
SVU:517
OU: 526
Now this is 2018 General Category data and with a score of 440, it is difficult for a seat in GMC under EWS. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So you will need atleast 500-525 for a seat in MBBS if you hold AP domicile. Hello aspirant ,
So as per the information shared by you, it is difficult to predict which college you might get, since the counselling has not yet been started.
However, seeing the previous trend of Cutoffs at various NITs/GFTSs under JEE MAIN Paper 2 under the EWS category , it might be very difficult for you to get into any NITs under JoSAA .
But , you can get into some colleges under JoSAA such as BIT MESRA,MIZORAM UNIVERSITY ,Katra VaishnoDevi college etc.
Also it is advised to you to also fill up the forms for state level counselling as well as some private colleges like SRM,Manipal,Amity Univ. etc. Which accept JEE Main scores as admission criteria.
you can also go through this link mentioned below to get an idea about the previous years trends in cutoffs for NITs under Jee Main paper-2
