my Jee rank in GEN- EWS category is 37065 can I get admission in NIT or govt.engg. colleges

Anurag Khanna 18th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the NITs or good GFTIs as per previous year's cut-offs but I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-

I hope this information helps you.

I have not selected as EWS category in NEET application form, but is it possible to get admission in college by showing my EWS Certificate?

Aryan Bhardwaj 17th Sep, 2020

Hey Aaditya,

Application form of an Exam is the Identification proof of yourself. The information given in that form is final and can not be change. But you can request to your college for editing the info after getting the college, then you can show your EWS certificate and can also get the perks according to your certificate in your college.

But you are unable to get the perks of the EWS in the process of selection of seat. I hope this answer helps you for clearing your doubt.

Thank you !!

my marks in Neet are 521 in EWS category can I get admission in MBBS in govt college in Punjab or in other govt college?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 17th Sep, 2020

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 521 marks you hold good chance to get into a Government Medical College

For example,
In neet 2019, 518 marks for general category was the lowest marks to get a seat in a Government Medical College under Punjab state quota and it was for Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot

To get the list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

Thankyou

sir my crl rank was 25510 . i get admission in dtu . i belong general ews category , outside

Heena GJ 27th Oct, 2020

Hi Abhay

The cut off for Delhi Technological University 2019 (ews category) :

CS branch: For home state 0-11798 rank

For other state 0-3124 rank

IT branch: For home state 0-15383 rank

For other state 0- 3861 rank

So by observing the above data, it is difficult to get seat with this rank.

However this is last year's data, cut off usually varies every year depending upon no of seats available, no of students appearing, qualifying, last year's trends, difficulty level of exam and so on.

what best college can i get through jee advance low rank.. general EWS category... for btech

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 17th Sep, 2020

Hey!

See, once you qualify jee mains and advanced then you are eligible to get admission in top IITs of India. Under jee advanced if you get rank upto 10,000 only then you can get good IITs and the most preferred courses in them. But if you get less rank and if you are getting other better college except IITs by your mains rank then you must opt that.

Hope I answered your query

Thank you

My Jee main 2020 rank in ews category is 24000.can i get hbtu cse?

vishnupandey 17th Sep, 2020
Hello aspirant
Congratulations for getting 24000 rank in jee main. Its very hard to give exact chance of admission in a college as cutoff of college vary every year based on different factor. One can predict chance of getting in a college by analysing past year trends.

Factor affecting cutoff -
1. No of students
2. No of seats
3. Difficulty of paper
4. past year trends

Past year cutoff hbtu cse

Ews-24173-27302

Round 2 cutoff (IT)
23970-24307

By analysing past year cutoff you have good chance to get a seat in hbtu Kanpur

You can check best college according to your rank using careers360 jee main predictor

i got 198 marks in neet and my all India rank is 531835 and i belong to EWS category and my category rank is 48273 can i get any any government seat like for bhms bams???

Afifa 27th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant

It's really difficult to predict if you can get admission Or not based on your neer marks and previous years cutoff as these cutoffs vary every year based on factors like difficulty level of examination, candidates applied, seats available etc.

However based on this score, you are really less likely to get admission in government medical colleges for ayush programs.

However you are neet qualified to apply for counselling.

If you want to try neet to score higher marks in coming year , try our neet knock out plan https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/

Hope this information is useful
