I got 16519 ews category rank in jee mains 2020 September attempt, would I get sadardar patel college of engineering or sardar patel institute of technology, Mumbai ??

Harsh Chandravanshi 18th Oct, 2020

Hi Aspirant!

According to MHT CET counseling the different cutoff merit is generated on the basis of JEE Rank but there is no data and survey available which compare JEE marks and MHT CET cutoff, Hence we can not directly predict our chances.

Otherwise to get the admission in Sardar Patel Institute of technology is 1789.

For more information you can follow up this Careers360's article:

I hope it helps.

Happy Hustling!

i m belong to EWS category (EWS rank 1559) and my neet score is 612 and AIR 14579 and UP Domecile .what is the probablity of getting government medical college

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 18th Oct, 2020

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks/rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 612 marks being from ews , you hold  a  chance in following govt  Medical Colleges under UP state quota

* Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Saifai, Etawah

*Maharani Laxmibai Medical College, Jhansi

*Autonomous Medical College, Basti

*Autonomous Medical College, Shahjahanpur

To get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

I got 77 percentile in jee January cani expect qualifying for jee in ews category due to less attendence in sep session

Hi aspirant,

You are getting 77 percentile in JEE Main. The previous year cutoff for different categories for JEE Advanced was as under and we can expect a similar trend this year too.

  • General.............89 percentile
  • EWS................78 percentile
  • OBC................74 percentile
  • SC....................54 percentile
  • ST.....................44 percentile
  • Pwd..................0.11 percentile

As you can see for EWS Category it was 78 percentile last year and you are getting 77 percentile this year. So you are on the boundary line and hence nothing can be said. Once the JEE Main result gets declared everything will be evident then. Meanwhile you can use our college predictor tool by clicking on the following link to predict your college and branch based on this percentile.

i got 30853 rank in jee mains ews category can u please tell me whether i can get seat in vasavi or cbit ??

sheemaashraf123 1st Dec, 2021
It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category

If you manage to qualify JEE Main Cutoff, You would be eligible for JEE Advance which is the intake exam for IITs as mentioned above.

However It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced

But the previous cut offs of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly

For the college preferences and the courses provided by these colleges and to know which colleges participate in the JOSAA counselling, please go to the below mentioned link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-participating-institutes/amp
