Im a female student of EWS category from state odisha. My NTA score is 80.82 . What does that mean and whats my percentile. can I get any NIT or IIIT?

Akansha Sharma 20th Dec, 2024

With an NTA score of 80.82, your percentile is approximately around 95-96, but the exact percentile can vary slightly depending on the exam's overall performance. Based on this score, getting into top NITs or IIITs may be challenging, especially for competitive branches like CSE or ECE. However, you may have a chance in other branches or in newer NITs/IIITs. It's advisable to check the previous year's cutoff trends for accurate predictions based on your specific score.

In jee mains session-1 my nta score is 80.82 . what does that mean and what is my percentile? Im from general EWS category. what chances can i get ?

Devyani Prakash 14th Feb, 2024

Hello student,

Having an NTA score of 80.82 means that your percentile is 80.82, since NTA score and percentile are the same thing.

If you’ve scored 80.82 percentile, then it will be difficult to get into JoSAA Counselling colleges. I suggest that you give the second attempt and prepare well for that so that you’re able to improve your score. However, if you wish then you can also check out some state counselling and university counsellings where you could be eligible to take admission based on your category and percentile. You could also target the specific state you’re interested in. For example if you’re looking for colleges in West Bengal, then you could apply for WBJEE, which is the state level entrance exam for admissions into engineering colleges in West Bengal.

If you want to check your rank range based on your percentile, then you can refer to the Careers360 JEE Main Rank Predictor: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna

If you need more information regarding which colleges you would be eligible for based on your marks and details, then you can refer to the Careers360 JEE Main College Predictor: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna

63 percentile and ews category what will be my rank and is there any possible to get into nit

Tanya Gupta 14th Feb, 2024

Hello,

With your percentile, your rank will be 378510 - 425500. However, with this percentile it is not possible for you to get into any NITs even as a EWS candidate. NIT is one of the most reputated institute and it is required to have a minimum of 85-90 percentile in order to be eligible for them.

However, you can use the below college predictor for predicting colleges with your percentile:

Hope this helps,

Thank you

1 am from ews category my parents annual income is 5 lakh i also have income certificate. but i filled wrong income in neet ug applicatio form by mistake (50k to 1lakh) will it affect my councilling procedure as in 2023 no option was given to edit family income

mjaisinghani62 12th Feb, 2024

Hello aspirant

EWS certificate is given to those candidates whose family income is less than 8 lakh per annum.

If you have entered wrong income in neet application form , you will get to change it during correction window dates.  If you won't be allowed to change the  income then let it be. You have ews certificate hence you will get your category seat , you must not worry about it.

At the time of counseling you must present your family 's income certificate .

You must carry your EWS certificate at the time of counseling to avoid any issue.

I gave jee mains 2024 april attempt under gen ews category but i belong to obc and i dont have obc certificate so is it ok if i gave exam under gen ews category i worried that there might be some issue

satyamercedes0626 6th Feb, 2024

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing great.

So coming to your question, whatever you have provided in the application form of JEE Mains shall be submitted during your counselling process. So, even if you do not have any certificate now, you can obtain the same by the time of counselling. So do not worry now, and try to get the certificate by the time of counselling.

Hope this helps!

I got 100 marks in January29 shift 1 EWS category how much percentail?

satyamercedes0626 6th Feb, 2024

Hello,

Hope you are doing great.

To answer your question if you are expecting marks 100 out off 300, Assuming you have attended Jan 29 1 st shift then your percentile would be around 92.57 - 95.03. As JEE Mains is conducted national wide every year there’s a very high chance that above mentioned percentile will vary and definetly you can get a college like National Institute of Technology Rourkela as you are from EWS background.

Hope this helps!!

What is cutoff for xat I have scored 77 percentile Ews category what are expected cutoff

Tanya Gupta 26th Feb, 2024

Hello,

The cutoff for XAT can vary from year to year and depends on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of test-takers, and the overall performance of candidates. However, with a 77th percentile in the EWS category, you may have a good chance of securing admissions to some reputable management institutes, although it may not guarantee admission to the top-tier institutes.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you
