General Rank is described as the Common rank list, which include total number of students that takes participate in Examination despite of their category.

Whereas General-EWS Category Rank, Belongs to those Student whose category is EWS implied by following condition:

• Annual Family Income is less than 8 lakhs per annum
• Must not own more than 5 Acre of agricultural land
• Residential flat area should be less than 1000 sq ft

If student from general category fulfills this condition then he belongs to GEN-EWS category otherwise he belongs to General category.

AP EAPCET 2022 is conducted by JNTU, Anantapur. And the overall rank of the candidate will be published under results along with the position in local region and position in category. The admission is based on the overall rank secured in AP EAPCET. Your position based on your category depends on the total number of candidates appeared, total number of candidates belonging to your category and  your overall rank so it is quite difficult to predict the position based on category.
