Hello Student
In this marks 43 out of 300 in jee mains you have nothing to do but to give up the hope of taking admission this year. Have to prepare for the next year with well prepared and crack the Gmail cut marks get a good NIT to take admission in your interest of engineering course of study. All the you are EWS candidate Still if you got at least 250 marks then there will be a chance for you to get NIT for your admission.
Hope this will help.
Dear Aspirant,
It is quite difficult to predict the exact cutoff situation as it depends on the difficulty level of the paper, the number of students attempting the exam and the preferences of the students.
Generally, for your category if you get 100 + marks out of 180 you have a good chance of getting IISER Pune, Kolkata, Mohali
85 + would fetch you Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati and 70 + for Bherampur, Bhopal.
This is just a rough sketch, the cutoff is constantly increasing as the competition for IISER is also increasing.
Hope this helps

Hello aspirant,
With the abive mentioned rank in EWS category in JEE mains in Other State category male, according to the previous year JEE mains Cutoff, you have difficult chances of getting CSE branch in NIT Allahabad and NIT Rourkela. But you can get all the branches other than CSE in NIT Allahabad and NIT rourkela. The previous year CSE cutoff for Male Student in EWS category other state in NIT allahabad is around 353 and the same for NIT rourkela is around 309. So, you cannot get CSE branch but you have good chances of getting Other branches like ECE, EEE, Mechanical, Civil, Textile, etc.

hello aspirant,
With the above mentioned rank in EWS category in JEE mains, it will be very difficult to get any good and top NIT or IIIT as the minimum required rank for EWS category in JEE mains for good NIT in core branches is around 2k-3k and for lower branches , the same is around 4k-5k. So, you see, you have very difficult chances of getting any good NIT or IIIT with this rank.

Hello Aspirant,
No you will not be questioned for such shift in category in fact you can opt for your category whichever is applicable on you but make sure that you must have valid documents to verify that you really belongs to that category and deserves the reservation benefits for it.
Also for this year if you have opted OBC category as your category in JEE-Main 2022 application form then you can edit it by July 3rd, 2022 as the correction window is open right now but make sure that should be in session 2 application form if the mistake is in session 1 application then you cannot edit it now it won't put you in any trouble because if you would not be able to proof that you actually belongs to OBC category then you will be considered under General category and the seats will be allotted accordingly.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Hi Muskanjain1702,
Its very difficult to get admission at rank 29356 at GKV Haridwar since in JOSAA its highest cutoff goes maximum to 13775 for Mechanical Engg.
But you can get collage through CSAB spot round in which CRL rank is considered and in the previous year students got admission in GKV in Spot Round 2 with CRL rank till 5 lacs.
