If you belong to the EWS category i.e. economically weaker section then without any doubt you can avail the benefits. In most of the colleges these benefits are available for only those EWS students who got the admission through merit list instead of management quota.

Congratulations for your result. 42000 rank is a good score.

In order to get a seat in NITs, you need to score at least 93+ percentile as per past year trends.


Thus, with this much rank, chances are very high for NITs. It is quite difficult to get top NITs in top branches but yes you can get few north eastern NIT colleges.

Sorry for disappointed you. But at this percentile you can't get any  NIT or top govt colleges.
I suggest you try to take admission through other entrance test.  Some option in iiiT , if you interested then comments

Based on such CRL rank you have NO chances for Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women with any of the branches because the closing CRL rank for EWS -Delhi candidate in 2021 was around 1.52 Lakhs in Round 4 of JAC counselling.
