ews
Hello Aspirant,
See your category in JEE-Main application form can only be changed during correction window and now it cannot be corrected so you will have to proceed with the same category i.e. EWS.
Because correction window for session 1 was already live few days back and now that too has been closed so unfortunately you are quite late and now no correction can be done in JEE-Main 2022 session 1 application form.
Now within few days the application process for session 2 of JEE-Main 2022 would commence.
Now if you have any error in your JEE-Main session 1 application form then you shall proceed with it and if you think that it can cause you a lot in future then you should reach out to NTA regarding your issue.
However if you are an EWS candidate then it will be beneficial for you as it is a reservation category and cut-offs for you would be quite lower as compared to that of General candidates so I would recommend you to go with it if you have proper supporting documents.
I hope you got the point.
Good Luck!!!
Hi,
I hope you are doing good. As you have defense personnel ward quota, you have very good chance of getting admission in NLU.
There are 22 National law Universities, which offers admission through CLAT (Common Law Admission Test), which is a national level entrance exam for taking admission in these NLUs.
I suggest you to use CLAT college predictor offered by Careers360, you will get personalized colleges based on your rank and CLAT score.
https://law.careers360.com/clat-college-predictor It will help you a lot during CLAT results.
I hope it clears your doubt.
Thank you!
NLUs are allocated as per the All India Ranks but some state law colleges are also present and they utilize category ranks as well.
Category ranks are primarily utilized at the state level and for colleges other than NLUs.
According to your rank, you might get NLUs you may get state-level law colleges where they use EWS rank.
You can predict your chances of getting to this college here

Hi Lakshmi.
With an EWS rank of 3340, you do not have any chances of securing a NLU currently in the country.
You can check out the previous year's CLAT cut-off data from the link given below :- https://law.careers360.com/articles/clat-cutoff
Also you can predict the colleges on your own using your CLAT score by using CLAT College Predictor which you can access from the link given below :-

Thanks.
You have not mentioned which type of reimbursement but there are two probabilities whether you want the reimbursement of admission fees after taking admission in a college or sometimes it is of application form. There is a rare chance that they will give you back the application form fees but if it is college admission fees then from whichever category you belong it is the rule by UGC that if someone cancels his or her admission the college is bound to refund the fees after deducting an amount of Rs 1000 which is a processing charge.
Dear aspirant !
Hope you are doing great ! There should be signature of collector, deputy collector or tehsildar or any other concerned authorities on your ews certificate otherwise it will not be considered during the counselling process . Please modify it as soon as possible . candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-NCL and EWS can avail a benefit of 15%, 7.5%, 27% and 10% respectively based on JEE Main Reservation. So don't let this opportunity to go . If any problem is there then tell us anytime .

Hi there
In regards to your query it's highly likely that if the declaration form has crucial credentials which can verify you under the ews category then you'll be good to get an admission under that category. Also many a times there are multiple windows opening for correction do look out for that as well to reduce the chance of any last minute emergency.
Hope this answer helps; best wishes
