My all india EWS rank is 452 (Women) but AIR 4945 & Ive MP domicile. can I get NLIU Bhopal or any other good nlu?

Kushagra Singh 13th Jul, 2022

Hi,

I hope you are doing good. The cutoff is based on your General rank and not in category rank. With 4945 rank , As from previous trends there are very low chances of getting seat in NLIU Bhopal.

There are only 23 NLU in India, and cutoff ranges up to 2000 for general category (with certain relaxation for females).

I suggest you to take some other entrance exams as well. If your aim is NLU, you just need a little more efforts and you will be in. Just focus on your revision and practice mock tests.

You can read more about NLUs and there cutoff trends in Careers360 at : https://law.careers360.com/articles/nlu-cutoff

I hope it covers your doubt.

Thank you!

iamlavishamittal 12th Jul, 2022

Good evening Aspirant,

Based on the analysis of previous year's cut-off and keeping another factors in mind you'll have chances in following colleges :-

NUALS Kochi

TNNLS Tiruchirappalli

MNLU Aurangabad

But note that above list is simply a prediction supported previous year's data of cut-offs of various institutions and these cut-offs are absolute to change each year depending upon the varied factors like

*Total number of candidates appeared within the CLAT 2022 entrance examination

*Difficulty level of Paper

* Top score

*The seat intake for the 5-year LLB / LLM program

*Total candidates from reservation categories (SC, ST, etc.)

* Previous year's cutoff trends

You can take a look at the previous year's CLAT cut-off data from the link given below :-

https://law.careers360.com/articles/clat-seat-allotment

Also you'll be able to predict the universities on your own using your CLAT score by using CLAT College Predictor which you'll be able to access from the link given below :-

https://law.careers360.com/articles/clat-cutoff

So don't assume it as final admission call from any institute. you'll must appear for seat allotment process.

And you'll get all details about CLAT seat allotment process from the link given below :-

Hello Yashodeep

According to the guidelines set forth in the government resolution. In higher education engineering colleges (like IITs and NITs) in Maharashtra, 10% of seats will be reserved for applicants from the EWS among General Category applicants.

How much I have to score in jee mains 2022 to get 9000 EWS rank ???

Anurag Khanna 1st Jun, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to tell you an exact figure of your marks to be scored because it keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors but yes we can help you with approximate figures on the basis of analysis of previous year's data.

So If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2021 then according to the EWS rank mentioned by you in the question your marks should be either in the range of 120 out of 300 or should be more than this.

You can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Note that the marks range which is predicted is only the expected range on the basis of previous year's data so actual data might vary depending upon current factors.

You can also take JEE-Main Learning package for solving series of mock tests :-

58 percentile EWS catagory is eligibility of IIT r nit r IITs?

Sevit Kar 11th Jul, 2022

Hello,

Let me tell you that in this 58 percentile and you are from EWS category where the cut off does not differs much than the general category.

So,it's not possible for you to get any NIT/IIIT. And for IIT you need clear the cut off for Jee advanced and 58 percentile is not the cut off for jee mains.

I would suggest you to keep private colleges as a back up. Entrances like comedk, SRMJEEE, VITEEE will be a good choice .

If you want to check out the colleges which you can get, you can have a look at that those in the link given below -

Can a pwd person who belongs to general category, is able to apply for the EWS? is there any conditions to application?

Piyush kesarwani 31st May, 2022

Hello aspirant,

YES, a pwd person will be able to get EWS category reservation.

Persons who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs and whose family has gross annual income below Rs 8 (Rupees eight lakh only) are to be identified as EWSs for benefit of reservation. Income shall also include income from all sources i.e. salary, agriculture, business, profession, etc.

Furthermore, you have to fulfill the below mentioned conditions to get the EWS Category reservation as a GENERAL Category person :

Your annual family income should be below 8 lakh rupees. An annual income of above 8 lakh cannot be considered as economically weak and hence cannot fall under the economically weaker section (EWS). If your family owns any agricultural land, it should be less than 5 acres.

I hope that this will help.
