Christian Medical College Vellore has allotted 16 seats for All India Open Category for MBBS admission and seats are distributed category wise as following OC-12;  SC/ST-03 & 1 Central Pool.

So there is no reservations for EWS/obc in all india open quota. Only 12 seats out of 100 are there for open category student form Gen/obc/ews Candidates. Thera are seats for Minority Network Category – 74 seats and CMC Vellore Staff Quota – 10 seats.

To get admission in CMC Vellore you will have to register earlier on CMC when application form are out. As it's counselling doesn't happen through AIQ counselling if neet. Only the candidates who registered for CMC Vellore those candidates are eligible to participate in counselling through tamilnadu state quota a counselling.

• DME, Tamil Nadu will release CMC Vellore MBBS merit list 2021 containing the name of candidates to be called for counselling.
• In order to be eligible for CMC MBBS admission 2021 , aspirants need to register themselves.
• Students who will fill and submit CMC Vellore MBBS application form 2021 before the last date will be included in the merit list.
• The state merit rank of CMC Vellore MBBS admissions will be done on the basis of NEET scores.

EWS category candidate means economical weaker sections. If your parents income less than 8 lakh per annum then you are under EWS category candidate. And yes in India NEET UG examination has 10% quota for EWS category candidates. So if you have this certificate you will get chance to admission via EWS category. You have to secure good marks ofcourse to get chance to admission in MBBS. Almost 450 to 520.

As per NTA, there is a reservation of 10% for EWS category.

So  the Aspirant need to get A Rank below 30000 i.e Around (97) percentile in order to get Seat in IIT and A rank below 40000 i.e, Around (97.3333) percentile in order to get Seat on NIT for an Aspirant with EWS Quota reservation.

Then,

15 cent land = 435.6 sq ft x 15 = 6534 sq ft

I am extremely sorry but with residential area of 6534 sq ft you are not eligible for EWS as those with residential area of 1000 sq ft. and above are not eligible for ews

You can check ews eligibility which is provided below:-

-) you shouldn't be covered under the scheme of reservation for OBCs ,SCs and STs

-)your gross family annual income from all sources i.e. salary, agriculture, business, profession, etc. must be less than 8 lakh rupees

-) irrespective of the annual family income one won't be eligible for ews reservation if his /her family owns

a) agricultural land of 5 acres and above

b) Residential area of 1000 sq ft. and above

c) Residential plot of 100 sq. yards and above in notified municipalities

d) Residential, plot of 200 sq. yards or  above 200 sq. yards in  the areas which are those other than the notified municipalities.

10% reservation for EWS category has not still implemented, AMU is still waiting for the supreme court to deliver the verdict of this case but the case is still pending. So for this year EWS quota will not be there, i.e. you will not get a benefit of EWS quota in AMU for this year.
