Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi
Hello,
The marks obtained in class 10 and class 10+2 boards are very much important for admissions in the top b-schools by clearing CAT,XAT,GMAT,etc. Many candidates fail to get seat instead of scoring above 95 percentile, because of their low board exam marks or they fail to clear the GD and PI rounds.
FMS,Delhi is a reputed b-school for MBA.It has its rankings among the top b-schools.Now the cutoff for FMS,Delhi lies in the range of 96-97 percentile.Next comes the GD and PI rounds where the overall academic record, work experience, communication skills, personality are looked upon.A final meit list is prepared based on the CAT score, class 10 board marks, class 12 board marks,PI,GD and the extempore. The selection procedure is full of hurdles and a lot of hard work is required
Always aim to score high to crack the cutoffs.Aim for more than 95 percentile and prepare your studies accordingly.FMS Delhi is a great option to study for MBA.Majority of the students are placed in the campus recruitment conducted with handsome salary packages. The recent placement statistics reports provide that there has been an increase of 9.95 percent of the average salary offered.

FMS MBA Admission Criteria for 2019 for MBA 2019-21 batch will be a three-step process. The three-stages of selection criteria are:
Eligibility criteria: FMS Delhi Eligibility criteria require that you must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration after class 12, with at least 50% marks.
Shortlisting Criteria for GD-PI-Extempore
Final Admission Selection criteria
-The marks obtained in 12th will not affect your admission for MBA. But make sure you have more than 50% marks in your graduation degree.
Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi requires a minimum of 99 percentile in CAT. Even if you have an average academic record, there's nothing to worry, if you manage to get a 99 percentile you'll get a call from FMS and after that you only have to do well in the subsequent rounds of selection.
All the very best
Both courses are equally good. Moreover you can choose any of them suiting your interests. But in MBA if you are planning to take marketing then you should go for Bcom hons marketing because then you'll already have some ideas about the subject. Apart from that MBA colleges will teach you everything from the scratch.
Hi Akarsh,
The minimum eligibility criteria for admission into MBA courses clearly states that only those candidates are eligible who have at least 50% marks all round that is 50% in class X, class XII and subsequently in graduation.
Once a candidate has the above criteria then the candidate has to appear for the MBA entrance examination such as CAT and consecutively has to crack it in order to get a call for pursuing MBA. So in order to be eligible for admission into FMS, Delhi you most definitely fulfill the preliminary criteria however you have to crack the CAT entrance examination with a great percentile for the same.
BEST WISHES!
