Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi
Hi,Sujit,
Kindly share me is it your CMAT?Beacause there are so many exams with different their scoring pattern CMAT,CAT, MAT or XAT .
If I suppose in CMAT & If you want to pursue a career in finance then NIBM is a good choice for you. The brand of NIBM is focused towards particular field that is banking and finance.
Well, if we looking at the last three years CMAT cutoffs : 87 in 2016, 93 in 2017 and 94 percentile in 2018 ; it seems a little tough for you to get a call. But don't lose hope this year they may increase or decrease the cutoff based on various parameters. So I would suggest you to apply for it and see where it takes you & I would also like to inform you that NIBM also accepts CAT, MAT XAT scores. You can definitely try via that route to get a call from NIBM your cat percentile should be 80 or above and MAT should be around 94 ( like i said, it may vary this year).
There is a basket of other good B-schools you can look for. Heres the list of B-schools accepting 70-75 percentile in CMAT :
In case of XISS For XISS the eligibility stands at 60+. However students at 70+ percentile to have a interview call. So i believe you have a decent chance to get a call. You may also want to look at few other colleges like:
Mostly you will get call from XISS Ranchi. So start preparing for GD PI. The first arts of focus for GDPI would be your profile.
In BHU hey don’t only consider CAT,MAT,XAT,CMAT exam score but they also consider your academ result and group discussion and personal intervie score. The CAT exam has a 50% weightage, while academic result has a 20% weightage and the GD and PI has 30% weightage.

Hello Aditya. First of all, I would like to congratulate you for getting a call from FMS BHU. The difference between a general MBA program and MBA IB program lies in the specilization. In MBA general, you would be introduced to all the subjects of various specilizations such as HR, Finance, IB, IT. in the first year of your study. Then you will be given the option to choose one specilization in your 2nd year of study. However, if you directly opt for MBA IB program, then you will be studying International Business Core subjects right from the start. IB could be a good option if you have interest in Import,Export, International Trade Policies. It is totally your decision which field you want to pursue. Every field has its pros and cons. Choose your option wisely. I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck.
Hi Dolma.
Greetings.
The composite score of ST candidate to get into FMS is around 22-25 according to the previous years score so there are chances you might get a call from them.
Hope for the Best.
Thanks.
Hi Shrashti!
For that you should fill the application form of FMS available at its offical website and look up for the syallabus for its entrance exam.
Also after you have cleared the entrance exam, you have to go through WAT and PI and after clearing all these steps you can get admission in FMS .
Note- The entrance exam, WAT, PI have different weightage.
hope this answers this query,
cheers!
Hi Shree , as per the last two years fms provides highest salary packages up to 54 lacks PA.
I hope it will help.
I forgot to mention the college FMS. I am unable to edit the question so mentioning here. What would be my composite score without gd/pi/extempore. And what should be my score in gd/pi to convert the call?
