The B.F.Tech is mostly about of Manufacturing with some of streams are including like Information Technology ,quality management,artificial intelligence.This course is provided knowledge of Introduction and fundamental designing element.It also including raw material ,manufacturing and quality of apparels .
So for my suggest become a good fashion designer you must also know about apparels quality ,designing manufacturing without knowledge of the apparel quality we cant a good fashion designer .
But if you are really not interested for this course then dont go because interest is much more important is this industry .

As you wanted to do fashion designing and it is mandatory to have 50 percent of marks in the 10th standard and in the 12th standard also based on this marks the colleges will give you seat in there college better to get first class marks so thath ypu may get seat in the good colleges and apply for the colleges which are on the top list and will provide you placements so study well and work hard to get good marks to get seat in the good colleges and ALL THE BEST for your future and i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to u.

If you want to be a fashion designer or a model , first complete your higher secondary studies from any stream . Then you will have to do Diploma in fashion designing or many other courses are there such as
• Bachelor of fashion technology
•Bsc in fashion designing (for science students)
• Fashion merchandising
• Master of fashion Technology
For all above courses NIFT ( National Institute of Fashion Technology) is best, it is in new Delhi.
After 10th there are two choices available in front of 10th passed students if they want to go for fashion designing-
There's no minimum percentage requirement for fashion designing courses in 10th class. However a percentage below 50 is not appreciated. You can get into following colleges for fashion designing:
