i am going to pusue only btech after jee and what will be the use of becoming a KVPY fellowship?

Akshita Paul 6th Sep, 2020

Hello,

Through KVPY, you can test your preparations for JEE on a national scale. Many students who crack KVPY get a good rank in JEE. You can appear multiple times for the exam to secure the scholarship. You might find this scholarship exam tougher than other examinations as most of the questions that are asked in the exam are JEE Main or JEE Advanced level questions. But once you crack it, it will be easy for you to crack JEE Main, or JEE Advanced. The students who qualify in the KVPY Exam are eligible for a fellowship as well as admissions into institutes like the IISC and the IISER.

Hope this helps!!!

Shreya Singh Student Expert 2nd Aug, 2020

Hello,

As you have mentioned that you have scored 23 marks in IIT Jam but it would be difficult to tell you exactly about the admission chances as cutoff vary every year depending on the various factors such as difficulty level of the exam, Number of candidates appeared for the exam, Performance of the candidates etc.

However you can check the previous year cutoff to take an Idea about the admission possibilities.

Is it possible to get fellowship in International Colleges after completing Mch in Neurosurgery in India?

Rishi Garg 9th Jul, 2020

This is possible to get fellowship/ scholarship to study in International colleges. This is not a general case. See, if your academic performance is too good, then you might get scholarship from various international colleges. However, if your academic performances are not extraordinary and you get admission into a particular college, then you would have to check its policy for scholarships available. Most international colleges provide scholarships on the basis of financial background of the candidate. So if your dream college has such policy, then you might study in it provided you get admission into it.

Such colleges charge the students only what the students can pay and not what their fee is. Such colleges believe in education more than money.

I got 50 percentile in jee 2020 January in OBC category. Am I qualified for jee Advance??

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 30th Apr, 2020

Though the official cut offs haven't been released yet, 50 percentile is too less for qualifying in JEE Advanced. You will need atleast 85 percentile and above. You might have to attempt the 2nd JEE Mains session whenever it is held in 2020. Now cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of Candidates who appeared for the exam, no.of Candidates who qualified, difficulty of the exam, Category and the no.of available seats. Please read our article for previous years cut offs of JEE Advanced: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-cutoff

At present no one knows how many students will be writing the exam or what will be the difficulty level of the paper.

The cut offs vary every year depending on a lot of factors.

Just focus on your studies and remember that no one can actually predict the cut offs of the upcoming year.

Just keep trying hard.
