I Am 66 percent in hsc science stream.so I Am eligible for b. SC IN your collage

Vedant Vibhor 29th May, 2019

Hi Uday,

Admission in the science courses in Fergusson College is based on merit. If one has to predict then he'd say that your chances of getting into any science programme of the college, given your percentage, are very slim.

If you need any more assistance feel free to ask.

I am a science student & got 67% in boards. I want to take admission for BA political science in Fergusson college,Pune. What are the chances

chaithra s 29th May, 2019

Hii Simran

We cannot tell anything about the admission because the admissions are decided based on the merit list and the merit list depends on the applicants who have applied that year and their marks.Basically the only eligibilty mentioned for admission in BA political science is that the student should have passed 12th class exam but whether you will get a seat or not will be decided on number of applicants and their 12th marks.

Thank You

I have got 79.6% in PCB CBSE boards can I get admission in Fergusson in BSc. Chemistry stream.and is there hostal facilities for girls ??

Vidhi 28th May, 2019

Hey!

79.6% is quite a low score for clearing cutoff of B.Sc. Chemistry at Fergusson college, Pune. The cutoff is usually > 90% for non-Maharashtra residents. For Maharashtra residents, the cutoff is low. It also depends on your category: whether Gen/OBC/SC/ST.

Yes, there is hostel facility for girls. There are 2 ladies block with a capacity of around 160.

Best wishes!

How can I get admissions in Ferguson college? What are the min. % required in 12th board

Ronit Jain 28th May, 2019

Admission is Bachelor degree is taken by the college on the basis of marks obtained by students in 12th boards examination.

Admission process starts right after publication of 12th board result of Maharashtra board.

To get admission in 1st cut off, students need 90%-95% marks in 12th boards examination.

In next cut offs, the percentage does not drop so much due to much demand of Bsc course of the college.

So, the maximum drop will be of 5-8% marks i.e, students having 85-90% marks may have chance to get admission in further cut offs is the seats remain vacant after 1st cutoff.

So, you need to score more than 90% marks in 12th boards examination to have a chance for admission in Ferugusson college.
