Yes, surely you can. The basic eligibility for pursuingB.Tech. Food Science and Technologycourse is a Higher Secondary (10+20) or equivalent qualification completed from a recognized educational Board, with Physics, Chemistry, and Math as main subjects, and a minimum aggregate score of 60%.

CSE in IEM is far better than getting good university with not so good branches.  CSE is in trend I too belong to the same trade so would tell you honestly that just go by the branch, placements are a big issue in such streams so its better you go
