You have a decent score but top 3 colleges as you mentioned have very high cutoffs so you will not get these colleges but you can try other colleges in Bangalore like

Hi candidate,
Yes mathematics is compulsory in b.tech food technology but it was for only 1year. In semester 1 it is mathematics and in semester 2 it is statistics and data analysis.
After the 1st year you haven't going to study mathematics.
