Hi, Both the courses are good but pharmacy is better. With a degree of Bachelor of Pharmacy, a student can register with the State Pharmacy Council and open their own Chemist shop to stock and sell medicines. The course offers job opportunities in both the public and private sector that allows students to make a valuable career in this field. Students can even opt for teaching job in this field, if they are willing to become a lecturer. There are different practice environments in this field, some of which are:

Hello student,
Saintgits College of Engineering , Kottayam has one of the best placements when it comes to food technology. Major companies for placement are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc. The highest salary package offered is 19.50 LPA from VMWare, and the highest recruitment is from Infosys Ltd. The median salary is from 4 to 5 LPA . Stipends are also provided by the management for project work
If you are not interested in food technology then don't take but yes hbtu is a good college and has brand name you can always get like minded people there who will improve your knowledge as competition there is good. You may take AMU if you get a desired branch or somewhat a decent branch. Second drop is always a risk so I won't advice you to take second drop. If you want a branch too badly then search for colleges having these branches and taking admission through management quota this might be the last option.
Hey.. In order to apply for b tech in food technology you must have passed 10 + 2 in pcb or pcm with minimum 50% from a recognised board. After that you have to apply through online mode for the entrance exam that offers this course , fill up the form with all the relevant information , download the admit card from the website and appear in the exam on the given date. After that wait for the cutoff lists to be released and after the results apply for the allotted and eligible college or university. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling round where they need to opt for their branch or specialization course.
Hope this helps!!!!
Yes, you can take admission if you have biology, chemistry and physics as ur subjects in 12 , food technology btech is a four years under graduate course. Many universities provide this degree example Amity university, choudhary sarwan kumar Himachal pradesh krishi Vishavidalay, palampur HP, there are more private universities you can choose by nearby ur home or universities having good ratings Thanks and wish you a good luck
Dear applicant it's great that you have interest to finish your career goals from abroad. If you wish to pursue your higher study or post graduate in Food Technology you have to appear for exams like TOEFL, IELTS etc. But I have one suggestion, after completing Bachelor's in Civil Engineering the best way to pursue food technology is that you appear for GATE Examination and while applying you can ensure your M.Tech in Food Technology course, if you crack the exam successfully you have chances to fulfill your desire in a better manner.
Good luck!!
