I am mentioning the ICT (Institute of Chemical Technology) JEE MAINS cutoff of the year 2019 for Food and Technology stream, as it seems Cutoff for the year 2021 has not been released yet. You can Use it for reference, to predict that according to your rank, you will get a seat or not-

Round 1 SC category All India quota- 14633

Round 2 SC category All India quota- 18770

Round 3 SC category All India quota- 21671

Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo for the councelling process. The cutoff released for Home States Candidates and other state Candidates will categorised later into categories like GOPENS, LOPENS, EWS etc.

I am student of B.tech final year in Food technology from a non- Icar accrediated University and college . And I am preparing for upcoming Icar pg exam for food technology. Is it possible after qualifying the exam to get into icar accrediated colleges to persue food technology ?

Yes definitely, if you are able to qualify ICAR AIEEA 2021 exam and get a good score then you can pursue Master's from a reputed college. And as you mentioned that you are pursuing UG from a non ICAR accrediated university then it might cause you some trouble during the time of admission.

Hello,

Candidates who have completed their 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as their subjects are eligible for Food technology course. So no with Bi.P.C you cannot go for food technology course. Students must have cleared 10+2 or an equivalent qualification from any board with an aggregate of more than 50% of the marks in exams. Students must have taken Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as the major subjects in class 12th.

Hi Aspirant,

Let me clear this to you.Bsc (3 year) student are not eligible for Gate .The eligibility for giving gate examination is that you must have pursued 4 years qualifying degree after 10+2 level.However Bsc degree holder in engineering,technology etc who have 4 years of study are eligible for Gate however.

Best college for food technology without jee

Dear aspirant,

According to your question the branch food technology is not a renowned branch and very few colleges which are actually good colleges have this branch. Through josaa none of the nits have this branch or any of the IITs.

So, i would recommend you to join Jadavpur University for food technology as this is the best option for this course.
