hello,

a science branch that deals with the techniques involved in production, processing, preservation, packaging, labeling, quality management, and distribution of food products.this field includes techniques and processes that are used to transform raw materials into food. Extensive research goes behind making food items edible and nutrients.undergraduate level, candidates should clear Class 12 th in Science stream with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Home Science and minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by a university/ college (usually 50% - 60%). the curriculum of  food technology programme usually depend on the type of course (BTech/ BSc/ MSc/ MTech PhD) a student is pursuing.

can we get admission in btech food technology through gb panthnager entrance exam

Hello,

Youu can take admission into BSc Food Technology after appearing in GBPUAT (Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology) entrance exam, but for B.Tech Food Technology, you are gonna need JEE MAINS score. So if you want to Study Food Technology and you can do BSc Food Technology after appearing in entrance exam conducted by the University itself, but you can't do B.tech in food Technology through entrance exam, but through JEE MAINS exam.

Here's the important dates regarding GBPUAT entrance exam


1. Commencement of Application for UG, PG amd PhD- March 15th, 2021

2. Last date to submit application- April, 30th, 2021

3. Release of Admit Card- June 11th, 2021

4. Exam dates for UG and MCA- June 20th, 2021

5. Exam dates for PG and PhD- June 19th, 2021

6. Release of Result- by June 30th, 2021

Its difficult to find colleges with full 100% placements but colleges at around 85-90 percent placement in India are mentioned below:

Yes , it is good for B.Tech in Food Technology. It offers this 4 year course with fee around 3.18 Lakh. Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) for studies in fisheries and allied disciplines. Is M.Sc food technology student are eligible to do M.Tech in packaging technology.

In general the eligibility for MSc Food Technology is-

The basic eligibility criteria for m.tech in packing technology is that the candidate must have completed graduation with minimum 60% marks from a recognised university in relevant subjects such as chemistry, biotechnology, polymer science, chemical etching, chemical engineering etc., So I believe you should be eligible as per the subject.

So yeah! you are eligible provided if the institute/university you want to take admission in makes any objections. As you haven't mentioned the name of the college so I can't provide you more specifics.
