Hello student,
The basic eligibility criteria for getting admission in masters in food and nutrition is that the candidate must have a bachelor's degree in food science or any equivalent discipline with minimum of required marks in the qualifying examination.
So, concluding that eligibility criteria is a graduation that can be in nutrition/dietetics/food science/food technology.
However, few colleges or institution may have their specific eligibility criteria.
Thanks.
Hope you are doing good in this pandemic situation.
Let me get straight to the point and tell you that yes you has very high chances of getting a BSc Food Technology free seat in Bapatla College of Arts and Science.
BSC food technology is not a very much famous branch and therefore there is very low demand for it and the cutoff is usually lower than the other branches so you have a very high chance of getting your preferred branch.
I am providing you the official website of Bapatla Arts and Science College.
You should keep checking out the website for latest updates regarding cut off list.

Dear Aspirant,
According to your question and taking into consideration that you are confused between college tag and branch preference.
I would say that among these colleges college tag doesn't matter at all. So, you should opt for GKV haridwar or GGU bilaspur.
But among these two colleges also i will recommend you to go with GKV haridwar EE as this college has a wider scope and better placement stats.
Hi Aspirant,
BSc in Food technology course is offered by Delhi University. It is three year full time UG programme.
B.Sc (Hons) Food technology requires PCB ( Physics, Chemistry and Biology) combination in class 12th with good percentage.
After doing B.Sc (Hons ) Food technology you can get jobs as:
You will have a lot of scope, both in the government and the private sector. In agriculture, food departments and large food corporations. If you will do M.Sc. Food Science and Technology in future, then the scope for job opportunities increases.
Thank you
As per GATE 2021 which will be conducted by IIT Bombay, now students who are in the third year of their bachelor degree are also eligible to appear for GATE exam. Since you are a student of food technology (B. VOC) and if you're in the third or fourth year of your bachelor degree, then yes, you are eligible to appear for GATE/JAM exam so as to pursue your M. Tech/M. SC. For IIT JAM exam, there is no age bar and you should a bachelor degree with 55% minimum marks if you are from general category and 50% minimum marks if you are from ST/SC/PwD category. But prepare thoroughly as the papers are pretty tough.
Hope, you get the answer.
